The Oxford Piano Group

is for all adults who love the piano, whether this is to play, or to teach.

It currently consists of two groups: a Players’ Group and a Teachers’ Group.

The Players’ Group
is specifically aimed at adult pianists. It provides a vibrant and innovative approach to developing and 
improving piano skills.  With an emphasis on music as a shared enjoyable experience - rather than as preparation for competition or examination - it helps participants deepen their musical awareness and knowledge and broaden their understanding in an holistic and inspiring way.

The Teachers’ Group
is designed to encourage piano teachers to share their knowledge and experience and provides a secure 
and stable environment in which to develop both musical and teaching skills. In all the sessions the emphasis is on investigating piano teaching from an holistic perspective, finding inventive and stimulating ways to 
encourage pupils to develop their musical skills.
