The Jacqueline du Pré Music Building

Since September 2009 the Oxford Piano Group has met at 
the Edward Boyle Auditorium in the lovely Jacqueline du Pré Music Building in St Hilda’s College, Cowley Place, Oxford, OX4 1DY.

Location
The Jacqueline du Pré Music Building is situated within the grounds of St Hilda’s College.  Coming from Oxford High Street across Magdalen Bridge, turn right into Cowley Place. The College is at the end on the right.  Inside the grounds turn left, there are clear signs to the Building.


Car Parking
Please note that there is no parking at St Hilda’s College. Course participants who are arriving by car are strongly advised to use the Park and Ride service (see below) or park in St Clement’s pay and display car park which is 5 minutes walk from the college. 


Park and Ride  
Oxford is well served by its park and ride service which can be found at five different locations around the city ring road.

By Train
There are frequent trains to Oxford from London Paddington, Reading, Birmingham and Southampton.  It takes between 20-30 minutes to walk from the train station to the Jacqueline du Pré Music Building. 
Taxis are always available at the station. 


By Bus
From London there are two bus services that run to Oxford, the Oxford Tube and the X90.  Both are incredibly good value and run about every 10 minutes during the day. What’s more they stop just 5 minutes walk from the JdP. You should ask for the St Clements bus stop.
